Boma WIP update

Bleh, not much to see here, I just laid in the color base. Now I've gotta draw some back ground stuff so I can scan it in and start coloring that. The challenge here is to try and do everything traditional, then scanned in and colored/positioned/edited in Photoshop. Though I might break away from that in the end and stick in some textures from the internet.

More old stuff. I want to draw a new short comic this week to compare with this.

Crack Kills!

Took the sketch from my second blog post and colored it in photoshop.

Boma Fanart - WIP

I inked this in my sketchbook with Faber Castell PITT Brush tip pens, and I want to color it in Photoshop, and try out some new things. Of course, I realized that it's scanned at 200 dpi so I need to rescan it today and clean it up again >_< oh well. It's Boma with his real face from Heat Guy J.

Speed Painting - WIP

My first speed painting in ArtRage (not the full version--yet!). It's another Van fanart, just because I like the character design--hey, wearing a fur skirt thing over shorts is cool!  There are things I like about it, like the colors and shapes, but I feel like there's a lot that could be better, so I plan on working back over this soon. Also I find it strange that his face reminds me a lot of my younger brother. I think it's mostly the nose though, haha! I did this in about 3 hours. I'll be doing plenty of them soon, gives me some great practice during this last week of break, and it's a lot of fun!
